Same-Day Dentures

It’s time to smile again.
Ask us about custom-fit dentures that can improve your smile, bite and life.

For patients missing a majority of their teeth, dentures are commonly used. We offer several options including same-day dentures and implant-supported dentures. An in-office evaluation with one of our doctors will make it possible for us to determine which type of denture is best for your smile. Here is some information on each denture below.

Same-day dentures
Same-day dentures are exactly what the name implies — dentures that are fabricated in the same day.

What to Expect:
Your appointment will look something like this:

  • In the morning you will come into our office to get an impression. Our team will then give that impression to our in-office lab technician who will begin working immediately on making your dentures.
  • You will then return in the afternoon or evening to be fitted for and receive your new dentures. If needed, we can also do same-day denture relines and repairs.

This state-of-the-art in-office technology makes receive dentures as quick and convenient as possible.

Implant-supported dentures
Implant-supported dentures are dentures that are secured in place using implants in the jaw. They are often used when a patient no longer has teeth remaining in their mouth but enough bone in their jaw to support implants. Implant-supported dentures snap into place on top of implants but can be removed for cleaning.

Implant-supported dentures provide a number of benefits and are a great improvement from traditional removable dentures. They do not require any adhesives or powders to help the dentures stick and are very secure and comfortable, significantly improving the ability to chew. Because they preserve bone in the jaw and restore lip-support, implant-supported dentures also help maintain facial structures and minimize wrinkles.

Implant-supported dentures are a long-term solution for those patients that are missing many teeth.

What to Expect:
Your appointment will look something like this:

  • Your first visit to our office will consist of a consultation with one of our doctors to outline your treatment plan and timeline.
  • At your next appointment, the process will continue with the surgical placement of your dental implant post. This post will act as a permanent “root” for the implanted tooth. Once in place, the surrounding bone and tissue will need time to heal.
  • After a metal post is placed and the implant site has healed, your dentures will be fabricated. This will happen in our office when we take an impression of your existing teeth and jaw to create a model for your dentures. This model will allow us to build dentures that are customized to fit the size and shape of your mouth and jawline.
  • One your dentures have been created, you will return for the placement and final fitting of your dentures.
